WAAM Juried Group Exhibit

Reflecting on a Vibrant Opening & Looking Forward to the Artist Talk at WAAM

The opening reception for "FOCUS: A Feast for the Eyes" at the Woodstock Artists Association & Museum (WAAM) was a wonderful experience. There is an undeniable energy that fills the historic Main Gallery when it’s packed with people celebrating the arts, and it was a joy to see so many familiar and new faces connecting with the work.

This exhibition, curated by Rudy Vavra, is a celebration of color and pattern, and being part of this talented group of artists has been magical.

If you weren't able to make it to the opening, or if you’d like to dive deeper into the stories behind the pieces, I would love for you to join us for the upcoming Artist Talk. It’s a great opportunity to meet the artists, chat about our shared passion for the arts, and enjoy what we hope will be another beautiful Spring day in Woodstock.

  • Artist Talk: Saturday, April 11, 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM

  • Exhibition Dates: Running through April 26, 2026

  • Location: WAAM Main Gallery, 28 Tinker Street, Woodstock, NY

I’m looking forward to a great afternoon of conversation and community!
